Types of Membership

Professional Member:

Individuals who provide therapeutic recreation in Health Care Facilities, Retirement Housing, Adult Day Care Facilities or Senior Centers must join as Professional Members and are entitled to voting privileges. The fee is $40.00 renewable annually.

Associate Member:

Individuals who do not meet the criteria for “Professional memberships” but who are interested in the profession and share the objectives of the corporation may join as Associate Members.  Members of this group have no voting rights and may not hold office. The fee is $35.00 renewable annually.

Meetings once a month offer opportunities to network with leaders in the field and keep abreast of the latest trends and issues. There are many perks to this board. Contact us for more information.

Note: This is the state level organization membership and it is a separate membership from any local level Regional membership. For a local level Regional membership you must contact the Region Representative.
